History and Geography

Each topic unit is carefully crafted to immerse children in the essential knowledge, skills, and understanding they need to succeed in school and develop a love for learning. With History and Geography as the core drivers, each term has a focused theme that connects these subjects to broaden children’s perspectives and spark their curiosity about both the past and present world. We are committed to a knowledge-rich curriculum, beginning with a clear outline of the key concepts we want our children to learn. Throughout the year and across different year groups, we revisit and reinforce these key knowledge and skills. Our children engage with a range of exciting, cross-curricular topics like The Great Fire of London, Bright Lights, Big City, Frozen Kingdoms, and Explorers of Frozen Kingdoms.
